Landscape Design & Construction
North Shore Land Design specializes in designing landscapes uniquely suited to your surrounding environment. The process can take a day or weeks to complete, depending on the size of the job.
Generally, a new landscape begins with a plan completed by a landscape designer or landscape architect. We can either recommend a licensed designer or architect or work with yours. After the plans have been agreed upon by you and the designer or architect, the area is prepped: old walkways and unwanted vegetation are removed, the ground is leveled, and drainage is installed.
Next the hardscape is installed: walkways, retaining walls, driveways, or fountains constitute this phase of construction. Finally, the planting beds and irrigation systems are put in place and the vegetation-sod or seed lawns, shrubs, and trees-is planted. Lighting is added last if part of the overall plan.

Irrigation
Conserve water and save time with an efficient, automatic sprinkler system. If you have a large variety of plant life on your property, a custom designed sprinkler system allows you to water when you need it, precisely where you need it, without wasting water.
Upgrade your old system or install a new one. Today's systems feature spray heads with adjustable arcs that keep water on turf and plants, and off walkways, walls, and gutters. "Smart" controls allow you to select "no water" days or change watering schedules to match seasonal changes.
All this adds up to less time maintaining your property and more time enjoying your landscape.
